First off, my daughter received the paper version as a gift. The story was not about the princess, but Goldy the mermaid (another title by the same author).The author publishes these books herself and while the stories are imaginative and my daughter enjoyed hearing the super hero girl stories (with my revised reading), they REALLY need outside editing. They are a struggle to read. There are grammatical errors, committed words, and typos all over these books. She attempts to be descriptive, but her description creates no valuable imagery, just extraneous detail. There are several pages of introduction in which the author gives her parenting advice on igniting imagination in "your kid" (we have no background on this author, her credentials, or why we should heed her parenting advice). Also, there are no illustrations in these books.
